Data controller
WhatWeAre interactive studio, info@whatweare.it
Data we process
Contact form: your name, e-mail address, subject and the text of your message.
Browsing data: like any website, the server automatically records some data in its technical logs, such as IP address, date and time of the request and pages visited. They are used only to keep the site working and secure.
Spam protection: to limit automated submissions, the IP address of anyone using the form is stored in encrypted form (a hash, not readable) for no longer than one hour.
Purposes and legal basis
Form data are used only to reply to your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps taken at the request of the data subject). Browsing and anti-spam data are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Your data are not used for newsletters, marketing or profiling.
Providing your data
Providing the form data is optional, but without them we cannot reply to you.
Retention
Messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your request and in any case for no longer than 24 months. Anti-spam data are deleted automatically after one hour; technical logs are kept for the periods set by the hosting provider.
Recipients
Your data are not sold, shared or disclosed to third parties. They may be processed on behalf of the controller by our hosting and e-mail providers, acting as data processors.
Cookies and external content
This site does not set its own cookies, either profiling or analytics, and does not use tracking tools.
Some portfolio pages embed videos hosted by Vimeo and YouTube: when you play a video, these services may set cookies and collect data under their own policies (Vimeo, Google/YouTube). The same applies to external websites reached through links, including social media profiles.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to processing, or to receive your data in a portable format, by writing to info@whatweare.it.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
