Benevento 360

WhatWeAre interactive Studio worked with Collettivo Digitale on an immersive room in Benevento. The project, with a strong educational purpose, was conceived to tell the story of the city and its relationship with the Appian Way.

The immersive room features a high-resolution 360° video mapping system, built on a multi-projection set-up with 8 short-throw projectors, spatial audio and a set of RGB lights. The whole system runs on a Resolume Arena media server, delivering an immersive and dynamic experience.

The room’s content is updated periodically through a custom workflow, which processes footage shot with 360° cameras and an editing process optimised for the specific resolution of the multi-projection.
